Confidence is the ability of an individual to face difficult tasks and overcome it.  Confidence does not denotes absent of fear,  but the ability to overcome it. Below are practical guides that will enhance and build your self-confidence.

1. Develop the habit of Smiling

It is important to create a habit of smiling, this creates a conducive environment for you, no matter the circumstances.  A real genuine smile, will silently kill the biggest fear in you, and build the giant of courage deposited into you, which you never thought existed.

Smile when you meet new people, when you are faced with challenges considered to be very difficult, these will generally help you to be happier even if you’re not feeling that way. Remember, your smile gives you access to a room full of courage and strength without force. Live in confidence, because that is your identity.

2. Say NO to Negative thought

Whatever the heart of man permits, will become eminent in his life. Whatever you don’t want in life, you don’t nurture. To live in self-confidence, it is paramount to eradicate every form of negativity while embracing positive thoughts For instance, Write a list of the things you’re tolerating and putting up within your life, then write down how you can remove, minimize, or diminish each one. At such a time like this, you need to be practical in your approach. It’s also a good idea to put the priority items at the top of your list, so you can begin resolving these first. Because in the palace of self-confidence, your thought is your master key that opens doors of undeniable victory over fear.

3. Treat failure and setback as feedback

Dear great mind, kindly note that the past is gone; it’s never coming back. Instead learn from it for next time.  Treat failure and setback as feedback and move forward instead of an opportunity to hold yourself back.

Knowledge is powerful, and it is the major avenue you can become relevant in your world.

Your relevance determine the level of your confidence especially when it comes to when, why, where and how to address an audience.  This is a new week and the year is still fresh, do something that will add to you. For instance, sign up for that evening class and enjoy it. Alternatively, read a book (or take an online course) on a topic you’ve always wanted to learn more about. Learning new things stretches your abilities, keeps your mind active, and most definitely improves your confidence in your ability to do new things.

 “You cannot be loaded with virtues and not be needed by people that matters most in your field and other spares of life”. Be more conscious in becoming a better version of yourself, by adding value to yourself as you seek knowledge.

Knowledge delivers you from the burden of ignorance and fear of unknown.

6. Improve and constantly utilize Your Body Language

To build your self-confidence, it is important to improve on the use of your body language. This is one of the keys that unlock the treasure of your self-confidence. Improve your body language. The way that you move your body has a massive impact on your confidence levels.

Move your body assertively and walk with your head up, shoulders back and as though you’ve got somewhere very important to go.
