The Potency of Self-Discovery

At such a time like this, it is painful to see many people with great potential and innate capacity who cannot discover their true identity. So for what essence and to what benefit is their existence?

To put this article in a proper perspective, it is pertinent to define the term self-discovery.

The American English Dictionary defines self-discovery as “realizing one’s true potential, character, motives, etc.”

Self-discovery means many things. 

It means finding your purpose in life (we all have a purpose); it means digging deep into your childhood and revealing the experiences that shaped you whether for good or otherwise.

Also, it means realizing what your beliefs are and living by them.

Self-discovery is the ability to identify one’s purpose and potential for the benefit of yourself and society.

Because your inability to discover yourself will rob you of the privilege to understand who you are and what you want from life and assist others as we journey through life.

our source is the creator of our lives. Ask from God what your purpose is in life, He is always available to guide and proffer solutions to all our problems.

Put your strength into action, as this will open up other avenues towards the discovery of yourself.

Why Do You Need to Discover Yourself ?

3. It makes you an authority in your own right.

4. You will be honoured and respected.

5. It helps in fulfilling your ultimate goals in life.

Once you discover yourself and deliberately improve on yourself, you will surely become a man and woman of value.
