New updates have arrived in the Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty’s harassment case.
More details below…
In a new report from The Daily Beast, the case is now centering on a focused on a back-and-forth regarding a requested $20 million default judgment.
Now Minaj’s attorney has asked that the petition withdrawn and for an extension to be granted allowing for additional time to more formally respond.
As for the woman in the middle of the case – Jennifer Hough – her attorney told the publication that he recently got an email from attorney Judd Burstein but declined the requests in question.
“I told him to prepare his opposition to my request for default judgment and explain to the court why his client and her husband believe they’re both above the law.”
In the new court documents obtained Hough’s attorney affirmed that the time for Minaj and Petty to respond has expired He also stated that Minaj and Petty had not answered the complaint, nor were they “infants or incompetent” or some other classification that would complicate the process.
Hough is suing Petty and Minaj for intimidation and Harassment (as we reported here).
Minaj has not spoken on the updated matter as of reporting.
