How to Run Your Race with the End in Mind
Running your race means to do the best that one could; to live life well and fully.
We can also see it as an avenue to move on with life despite the challenges posed by it.
Life is like a race, you keep on running. You try to get as fast as possible, however; it is a special race.
It’s a race against time, not everyone can run a long time.
Some people have many years left while some may have minutes left to their existence. But the point is running as fast as you can before your time runs out.
The beauty of your race is that you are not in competition with anyone.
Your greatest competitors are laziness, procrastination, and doubt.
We can describe our everyday life as a race.
We’re off and running in this marathon, and each sunrise presents new challenges as we hurry along.
All the while, we know God has provided the path we’re supposed to take.
Your path is unique, and no one can run your race for you.
Only you can run it as designed by God because it is not a competition but a determination and self-discipline.
God has a purpose for your life, a destiny for you to live out, a plan that He uniquely created you to fulfill.
You advance toward that goal by focusing each day on aligning your thoughts, attitudes, and behavior as you genuinely run the race of life.
There is a space created for us as individuals to fill for the betterment of our community, society, nation, and the world at large.
God created us all to function on earth as a solution and not a problem. So the big question is; what problem are you solving?
I beseech you to focus on your race, which is the important thing in this dispensation.
Start filling the space, wake up every day and think of solutions, wake up every day, and embrace hard work and a smart brain which is one hallmark of great champions.
Above all, do not run another man’s face, just because you are not in
competition with anyone.
YES, YOU CAN!
