The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

-Scott Hamilton

Your positive attitude will surely give birth to robust positive thinking, which is the hallmark of a happy living.

What then is positive thinking?

“Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results.”

Another, the more comprehensive definition comes from Kendra Cherry at Very Well Mind (2017B):

“Positive thinking actually means approaching life’s challenges with a positive outlook. It does not necessarily mean avoiding or ignoring the bad things; instead, it involves making the most of the potentially bad situations, trying to see the best in other people, and viewing yourself and your abilities in a positive light.”

Dear amiable reader, it is no longer news that this is the era of a new order, and we must as a matter of necessity create the happiness we desire. So one of the ways to do that is by putting on a positive attitude towards the situations of life.

Please note that attitude is everything, your attitude if well managed will take you to places where you will be honored and celebrated even beyond your imagination.

A bad attitude is like a flat tire, no matter how beautiful your car may look. If the tire is bad it won’t move forward so also is attitude.

Instead of waiting for external things to make you happy, be happy, and then watch how that influences the things that go on around you. That is, instead of telling yourself that first something good has to happen, and then you’ll be happy, be happy first. Happiness is an attitude, not a situation.

As I began to coast home, I beseech you to do the following in all sincerity and am sure greatness and happiness will not be far from you.

Be Optimistic and be willing to make an effort and take a chance instead of assuming your efforts won’t pay off, the beginning of your efforts may not be Rossy but surely your latter end shall be glorious.

Acknowledge that things don’t always turn out how you want them to, but learning from your mistakes and most times the unfavorable circumstances you are surrounded with. All these will be a stepping stone to your zenith in life.

Bounce back stronger and hopeful from adversity, disappointment, and failure instead of giving up or looking down on yourself.

Create the life you desire and be convinced about your vision and purpose for life.

Take responsibility for your life and tell yourself “I’m in charge of my destiny”.
